Wilson Business Growth Consultants Wins 2011 Platinum and Gold International MarCom Awards

The Platinum Award—the competition’s highest designation—was issued for Wilson’s extensive research and writing in the field of government relations. Her research findings were summarized in a 50-page white paper, “Funnel Government Funds to Your Clients’ Projects: Five Components of a Strong Government Affairs Program,” which was published by the Society for Marketing Professional Services Foundation in August. The Gold Award was for a national education-centered promotional campaign the firm created and administered. The Honorable Mention was awarded for an international social media campaign.

The MarCom Awards honor outstanding achievement by marketing and communication professionals. The program is administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals, an international organization that consists of several thousand creative professionals.  The judges are industry professionals who look for companies and individuals whose talent exceeds a high standard of excellence and whose work serves as a benchmark for the industry.

More than 6,000 entries were submitted in the 2011 competition. Competitors included marketing and communication specialties from individuals and small firms to Fortune 500 companies.
