Flea markets have been a part of the human culture since before the beginning of recorded history. When mankind first began farming he’d take his crops to the market. Wether it was wheat, milk, meat, fish or some handmade goods the flea market was the place where the world of finance was born.
Today’s flea markets are nearly the same as they’ve always been and in some cultures remain the most important aspect of the regional economy. You’ll find isles and rows of vendors selling everything from crops to electronics and crafts to antiques. People enjoy the flea market as a way to earn extra money, find unique things and just hang out shopping but what happens when you can’t attend a market in person? Is there still a way to enjoy such an event? Well until now the answer was no but as you probably expected the ancient tradition of Flea or Open Air Markets has been moved into the 21st century thanks to our ole friend the Internet.
LiveFlea.com is the world’s first and only Live Webcast Internet Flea market. Found Michael McNabb hopes to create an online atmosphere nearly exactly the same as an open air or flea market. Vendors are provided with a Webcast platform that allows buyers to ask questions, see items in detail on video and work out transaction details with the seller. Just imagine, you can now haggle over prices, find rare items and collectibles, earn money by running a booth, manage your tables just like a real flea market.
What’s next nobody knows for sure but liveflea.com is sure to be a major player in the world of Online retail and Traditional Flea Markets.
