Internal Gardens Tai Chi School is inviting the public to join their celebration of the Chinese New Year Saturday January 28
Franklin, NJ – The Chinese New Year is considered to be the “luckiest”
Internal Gardens Tai Chi School is inviting the public to join their celebration of the Chinese New Year Saturday January 28 as a way for the community to get together and share in the healthy Chinese mind/body art of tai chi. Visitors can enjoy learning more about a traditional tai chi school setting and indulge in a buffet style lunch. “While I’m not of Chinese ethnicity,” comments owner and master tai chi instructor, Loretta Wollering, “I honor and share the culture of my deceased tai chi teacher, Master Jou Tsung Hwa. And besides, the Chinese New Year is a great way for folks to get a second chance on their New Year’s resolutions!”
The event begins at 1pm, opening up with the school’s adult tai chi students receiving their sash awards for recent progress in tai chi. Wollering’s recently released instructional tai chi DVD will also be available for sale. There will be traditional Chinese New Year’s foods and gifts while supplies last. A $5 donation is suggested from visitors to help the school provide food all afternoon. Internal Gardens is located upstairs at: 418 State Route 23; Franklin, NJ 07416 at the corner of Route 23 North and Rapole Street.
