FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE PRLog (Press Release) - Apr 09, 2012 - Effective immediately, Ability Clinical Technologies, an Orlando, Florida-based corporation will offer TotalMD’s HIPAA-compliant, STANDARD software program for Practice Management and Medical Billing. “Many practices and services we support, do not require the extra features of the TotalMD Advanced product that we carry”, says Ability’s CEO Scott Hoehn. He continues by saying “By offering the Standard version, we offer our clients an affordable way to protect their patients data from cloud-based alternatives while complying with new government standards. Although the Standard program has features found in programs costing thousands of dollars, the additional features of the Advanced program can always be added as a practice or billing service grows. For clients currently using Medisoft or Lytec, the TotalMD program has a built-in conversion program for their data.” Protecting patient identity should be the concern of every medical practice and billing service. Recent data-breach reports should send a clear message that cloud-based systems are NOT the way to go for data this sensitive. Doctors are ultimately liable to their patients for decisions made regarding where their data is placed. In addition, online companies can change ownership at any time, which could place patient data in hands of owners with questionable motives and/or regulations. The Standard version of TotalMD solves this problem without requiring any additional or annual fees.
Calvin Ingram, 16-year-old singer and song writer of the band Melting Clockwork, is pleased to announce the premier ‘Catch ‘em on the Rise’ music jam event to be held at Gulf Coast Town Center. FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE PRLog (Press Release) - Apr 09, 2012 - Estero, FL – Calvin Ingram, 16-year-old singer and song writer of the band Melting Clockwork, is pleased to announce the premier ‘Catch ‘em on the Rise’ music jam event to be held at Gulf Coast Town Center just outside of Blu Sushi and Firepit restaurants on Thursday, April 19 from 6-9PM. The outdoor stage performance will feature up-and-coming bands and musicians performing their original music and songs ranging from folk to rock. All performers are age 21 or under, and have a passion for music and song writing. Calvin and his 14-year-old brother Sonny of the band Melting Clockwork have been performing for the last few years at various venues throughout Southwest Florida. They feel very fortunate to have been given several opportunities throughout the years to play their original music in front of live audiences at country clubs, restaurants, bars, Music Walks, Art Walks, the County Fair, and private parties. They often play familiar “cover” songs from other artists since that is what crowds often want to hear. However, they truly enjoy entertaining crowds with their original music and lyrics. Over the years they have met many young artists who share their same passion for writing music and lyrics, but seldom are given the opportunity to perform their original work. “My brother and I organized ‘Catch ‘em on the Rise’ to provide younger, less experienced musicians with an opportunity to perform their original works in front of a live audience,” says Calvin. He adds, “At this event young musicians will have a chance to show off the real heart and soul behind their music, as well as introduce folks to a different side of the regional music scene than what they are accustomed to seeing.” For more information contact Calvin Ingram of Melting Clockwork at 239-994-4319. — end —

Toyota’s publicity and marketing efforts reveal the integral role that reputation management plays in today’s business world—including for Fortune 500 brands. Companies such as Reputation Changer provide services to companies of all sizes. FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE PRLog (Press Release) - Apr 06, 2012 - Reputation management has grown into a thriving industry on the back of a largely small business-oriented clientele. More recently, however, major corporations have illustrated the crucial services that reputation management can offer even for Fortune 500 brands. A new Forbes profile on the Toyota brand serves as a good example. The article notes that Toyota has experienced many setbacks in recent years, among them recalls of more than 10 million vehicles. These well-publicized recalls have even led to media speculation that Toyota’s vehicles are unsafe. Despite this, Toyota has maintained some of the highest consumer-approval ratings in its industry, something that can be attributed to savvy reputation management campaigning. And according to companies like Reputation Changer, Toyota is just one example among many of reputation management in action, on a large scale. “The instance of Toyota shows just how potent a good reputation management campaign can be in terms of shaping consumer perception,” confirms Justin Singletary, who serves as Reputation Changer’s Chief Executive Officer. “A company without good reputation management strategies in place may have been crippled by a negative public perception, but Toyota overcame its setbacks and maintained its status as a brand of choice.” The Forbes article discusses the various ways in which Toyota labored to shape public opinion. For example, the company, following rumors of lax safety standards, essentially shifted its marketing focus away from safety altogether, reminding consumers of the brand’s relevance to their lives and enforcing “personal narratives” as a way of suppressing unwanted publicity. The Toyota model serves as a good example, but Singletary says no two reputation management campaigns are ever the same. “One thing that Reputation Changer emphasizes is individualization,” he notes. “While some companies may essentially work from a template, we believe in building every campaign from scratch, addressing each client’s particular reputation management needs.” And this is true for companies both large and small. Many reputation management companies work with a variety of lower-end clients, including not just small businesses but even public figures. Singletary says that his firm has worked to enhance the public images of doctors, lawyers, and even low-profile community members. But as the reputation management industry takes off, it attracts bigger and bigger clients. “More and more, we’re hearing from political candidates and Fortune 500 companies,” says Singletary. As the clients have grown larger, the reputation management strategies themselves have grown more elaborate. According to Singletary, the industry has come a long way from its roots. “Initially, it was largely a matter of kicking negative listings off the first page of a search engine, but now many of our clients expect something on a much grander scale,” he observes. Indeed, reputation management companies still practice cutting-edge SEO tactics to regulate online search listings, but they also implement national newswires as part of what Singletary calls a “media blitz” strategy. In fact, some of the larger reputation management agencies, including Reputation Changer, manage their own influential blogs and even national media outlets. They syndicate content through these networks at a rapid rate—“all day everyday, as often as is necessary,” Singletary says. The goal of these campaigns is to portray a given brand in a positive light, but, for a Fortune 500-level brand, that goal is anything but simple or straightforward. It involves not only the suppression of negative online reviews and bad publicity, but also the shaping of the national media narrative. As a result, companies in the reputation management industry offer 24/7 monitoring and rapid response to PR issues as they arise. ABOUT: Founded in 2009 by a team of online marketing and sales professionals, Reputation Changer is one of the premier providers of online reputation management.

Toyota’s publicity and marketing efforts reveal the integral role that reputation management plays in today’s business world—including for Fortune 500 brands. Companies such as Reputation Changer provide services to companies of all sizes.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release) - Apr 06, 2012 - Reputation management has grown into a thriving industry on the back of a largely small business-oriented clientele.

“A company without good reputation management strategies in place may have been crippled by a negative public perception, but Toyota overcame its setbacks and maintained its status as a brand of choice.”

The Forbes article discusses the various ways in which Toyota labored to shape public opinion.

“While some companies may essentially work from a template, we believe in building every campaign from scratch, addressing each client’s particular reputation management needs.”

And this is true for companies both large and small.

After 17 years of successfully running a telecommunications business as Boston Wireless, the company today announced that it will now be known as Harbor Networks. FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE PRLog (Press Release) - Apr 06, 2012 - Framingham, MA (USA), Friday – April 06, 2012 — After 17 years of successfully running a telecommunications business as Boston Wireless, the company today announced that it will now be known as Harbor Networks (http://www.harbornetworks.com ). In addition to the name change, the company rolled out an expanded suite of products and services and announced its expansion into Connecticut and New York with two new regional offices. The name Harbor Networks ( http://www.harbornetworks.com ) is designed to reflect a clearer image of how the business has grown and transformed in concert with the unified communications industry. It also fosters and promotes continued geographic expansion, as Harbor Networks currently has customers in 41 of 50 United States and in 14 different countries. Today, Harbor Networks is an integrator of unified communications technology. The company designs, implements, and supports IP telephone systems and IT infrastructures. Key partnerships are with industry leaders such as ShoreTel, Extreme, Avaya, Cisco, Lifesize, Ruckus, HP, and Verizon. Harbor Networks ( http://www.harbornetworks.com ) also announced an updated Managed Services model. This new model will strengthen the company’s ties to customers by proactively assessing, monitoring, and backing up the key performance elements of corporate network infrastructures. These services coincide with Harbor Networks’ recently opened, state-of-the-art Unified Communications Center, which is built and staffed to support customer networks 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Despite the exciting changes, the company remains committed to its original mission to provide the highest level of professional experience and service to a market that demands it. “We want to be sure to stay close to our Boston roots,” says CEO and President Greg Bertschmann. “We think that having Harbor as part of our name will reflect this. There are few harbors in the world as beautiful and historic as Boston harbor. We trust that our customers will soon realize that Harbor Networks is a safe and well-protected place where they can have confidence in our company as their unified communications provider. We still believe that achieving service excellence means continuously evolving key partnerships and delivering the support, services, and products our customers need. We will continue to listen to our customers, adapt our breadth of knowledge, and remain an important valued partner to all of them.” “We are all very excited to announce our new identity,” added Bertschmann, “Yet after all is said and done, it is people, not a name, that define a company. The most important element of our identity, a very bright team of dedicated employees, will not change a bit when our name does.” About Harbor Networks Inc.: Founded in 1995 and headquartered in Framingham, MA, Harbor Networks (formerly Boston Wireless) has continued to evolve over the past 17 years. Our core business of installing and maintaining business communications products has remained consistent. We remain committed to constantly evaluating our product line, providing reliable leading edge solutions, and supporting all of our customers as partners in our success for the years ahead.
