For the second straight year of ranking American law firms, U.S. News Media Group and Best Lawyers® have named FSB FisherBroyles, LLP (“FSB”) as one of the nation’s best law firms.
For the second straight year of ranking American law firms, U.S. News Media Group and Best Lawyers® have named FSB FisherBroyles, LLP (“FSB”) as one of the nation’s best law firms. Additionally, two FSB partners, James E. Meadows, of the Atlanta office, and Harvey A. Kurtz, of the Chicago office, were listed by Best Lawyers as Leading Lawyers in their respective practice areas of Information Technology Law and Employee Benefits (ERISA) Law. FSB’s Information Technology practice was specifically highlighted in the rankings as a Tier 1 Atlanta firm in that market.
The national distinction is especially significant given the firm’s upcoming 10-year anniversary since its founding in April 2002. “Being recognized as a top tier firm for two years in a row is a notable achievement for any firm, and especially so for a younger firm like FSB,” said FSB co-founder Kevin E. Broyles. “FSB was founded less than ten years ago and now is recognized as standing shoulder-to-

Fisher II. “We are successfully recruiting additional partners in the top tier of their practice areas across the United States as our unique business model continues to gain traction nationally.”
The U.S. News rankings accompany another milestone recognition for the firm. Recently, Business-to-

About the U.S. News – Best Lawyers® “Best Law Firms” rankings. An unprecedented amount of data was collected in the project’s second year. The U.S. News – Best Lawyers® “Best Law Firms” rankings are based on a rigorous evaluation process that includes the collection of client and lawyer evaluations, peer review from leading attorneys in their field, and review of additional information provided by law firms as part of the formal submission process.
Law firm clients were asked to provide feedback on firm practice groups addressing expertise, responsiveness, understanding of a business and its needs, cost-effectiveness, civility, and whether they would refer another client to the firm. Lawyers voted on expertise, responsiveness, integrity, cost-effectiveness, whether they would refer a matter to a firm, and whether they consider a firm a worthy competitor. These reputational survey responses were combined with more than 3.9 million evaluations of 41,284 individual leading lawyers collected by Best Lawyers® in its most recent annual survey of leading lawyers.
All of the quantitative and qualitative data were combined into an overall “Best Law Firms” score for each firm. This data was then compared to other firms within the same metropolitan area and at the national level. Because firms were often separated by small or insignificant differences in overall score, a tiering system was used rather than ranking law firms sequentially. The first tier includes those firms that scored within a certain percentage of the highest-scoring firms.

Chicago-Offering the finest designer children’s wear, Odile Luxury Children’s Boutique, 710 N. Wabash, Chicago, debuts the Midwest arrival of the premiere collection of Lanvin Petite by Alber Elbaz, now available in store and to view online. The Lanvin Petite collection offers a cheerful array of luxury choices for the sweetest little girl’s boudoir. Reminiscent of the women’s collection, Alber Elbaz has designed the children’s line to reflect some of the many nuanced design details that he is best-known for, including exposed zippers and raw seams. Consisting of dresses, skirts, tops, a trench coat and beautiful accessories, the Lanvin Petite collection is made from plush materials, such as washed organza, pleated tulle, taffeta, satin ribbon and grosgrain, beads and strass. Additional pieces to the collection include dolls, necklaces and ballerina flats that come in silk or metallic calfskin with a tulle pompom. Select items from the Lanvin Petite collection that will be available at Odile include:

There are four versions of the figurines; each wearing exact replica dresses from the Lanvin Petite collection. Looking fabulous in their miniature Lanvin dresses, faux pearl earrings, tulle-wrapped necklaces, sequined eye shadow and stitched manicures, the peacock figurine, along with two additional styles, will be available at Odile for $400.
Odile Luxury Children’s Boutique features timeless children’s apparel – many exclusive to Chicago and the Midwest – for newborn to12 years of age that boasts traditional styles from mostly European designers. Cozzini diligently scouts the world for international treasures and heirloom pieces that will be cherished for generations to come. In addition to the newly added Lanvin Petite collection, other featured lines include Le Nouveau Nè, Stella Cove, La Stupenderia, Frilo, 120% Lino and Baroni.
