“PAULA’S PERILOUS ADVENTURE”
is released in time for the holidays

Choose a Children’s E-book That Lead to Success in Life!

Parents may choose an e-book that illustrates life values this season. Children ages 6 and up may enjoy the new e-book “Paula’s Perilous Adventure” by Wayne Anderson, via Apple, Kindle, Nook or Sony Reader.

Along with offering an engaging story, “Paula’s Perilous Adventure” emphasizes value-based decision making, for example the importance of caring for others, teamwork, facing problems and using creativity to solve them. The story also emphasizes the dangers of meeting strangers over the Internet. The e-book includes a syllabus that lists important lessons emphasized in the story, for parents and teachers reference.

The story: features adventure and value-based guidance
Paula is a young koala bear from Australia who begins to correspond online with a Chicago area pre-teen named Calvin. Both are unhappy, and share fantasies of escaping. They agree to meet each other on a Pacific island.

Meanwhile deep in the universe, Captain Opto and his two sons travel via spacecraft towards Earth. Captain desires to mentor to folks in need. In his research, he finds Paula and Calvin, two strangers who plan to meet.

Captain decides to land the spaceship on the island Paula and Calvin plan to meet. He morphs into human form, and lets his sons return to outer space while he mentors the young adventurers. In the story he warns them that trust is earned, and the dangers of meeting a stranger online. He guides them in facing challenges like surviving on an island, dangerous weather, and later in dealing with intruding pirates who threaten their existence.

Eventually, Captain learns a lesson along with his students, that even with their adventures and successes, they miss their homes and families. They all agree it is time to find a way off the island so they may each return home.

The author: inspired by classic animation, modern technology and classic values
Wayne Anderson is the CEO of Forever Young Media Inc. that features video and animation products of a positive nature. He felt inspired to create “Paula’s Perilous Adventure” after seeking a DVD gift for his six year-old granddaughter. Mr. Anderson took time to review videos he considered. “I saw mayhem, madness and meaningless cartoons, void of any content that would lead to good things.” he said. Some videos included unnecessary violence. “I asked, ‘where is the product that teaches a child to lead a positive, successful life?’”

The children’s DVD industry seemed remiss of such values based products. Mr. Anderson drew from his own life experiences to create “Paula’s Perilous Adventure” and bridge to children around his granddaughter’s age. Mr. Anderson also felt inspired to caution children of modern day risks, like connecting with strangers on the Internet.

Mr. Anderson is a Vietnam veteran and former sales executive. He started Forever Young Media because he loved  working with computer animation. He felt inspired by greats like Walt Disney, and proceeded to pursue his dream of creating positive value based products.

The e-book:
“Paula’s Perilous Adventure” e-book may be accessed via Apple, Kindle, Nook or Sony Reader, and is available for a special holiday price of $4.99. For more information, visit PaulasAdventure.com.
